Jack...

Jack turned 8 on the 21st! Since he got baptized we decided not to do a big birthday party and focus on that. So on his birthday we kept it simple. He requested Jimmy Johns for lunch so the kids and I took it in to the school and got to eat with him! That was so fun! Then we got to go to his classroom for a bit! He talked about his poster of pictures and some of his favorite things. Then I got to read a book and Jack picked out Interrupting Chicken! We then handed out some birthday treats! For dinner we went to Cafe Rio and then went to Target so he could spend some of his birthday money! We came home and had donuts in lieu of cake and called it a night! He loves to read and if he isnt building legos he is usually reading a book! I cant keep up with him but love how much he loves to read!

A member of the primary presidency took some pictures of Jack and I LOVE how they turned out!

Since he turned 8 he got a new suit and set of scriptures! So handsome!

5 months...

I totally forgot to take pictures when Peyton was 5 months because my sister was here from out of town and we were having too much fun! So a couple of days later (when I remembered) I took some pictures. I dont think they are great but she is cute so it doesnt matter!

She got her first 2 teeth! She is a pretty good sleeper! Sometimes she sleeps through the night and sometimes she wakes up once (or twice if it is an off night). She is pretty good at going with the flow and adapting to every one else's schedule! She is so happy and likes lots of attention!

January Misc...

January feels so far away! This is the random photo recap!

Tummy time after church!
You know he is a tired boy when I can change his diaper and he stays asleep.
At her 4 month well child check up she weighed 13 lbs (16%). She was so good at her appt. and was a champ with her shots! Her new thing is grabbing her feet!
Cohen feeding the giraffe! So cute to hear his little voice saying, 'Giraffe, come here! Come get your food!'
Tummy time and a bald head!
Newborn skirt, 6/9 month shirt, and 3 month sweater. Childrens clothing sizes are so wacky!

He insisted on wearing Brodys Ninja Turtle shirt and all the turtle gear!
Aunt Kelly came for a visit! She mostly came to see Peyton, but we had fun playing! Lots of yummy food, Swig runs, shopping, and talking!
Love this pic of Lynds and P!

We went down to BYU to visit friends!
And we got to go to the temple one day!
I hate waking kids up from naps. Thought he was pretty cute sleeping like this on his puppy though!
Jonah helped Clay install recessed lights and a couple of outlets in the one unfinished room of the basement! Clay did do some of the work too! He learned a lot and the room is so bright now!
He is such a stinker when I sit down to feed Peyton. This time he found dads glasses...
 Enjoying the beautiful weather!
Started solids! She was not feeling the rice cereal but after a couple of days she warmed up to it!
Brody was very excited to wear his Seahawks jersey to school the Friday before the superbowl! Gotta love that goofy kid!
I got brave and decided to potty train! We are taking it slow but I am surprised with how well he is doing and how fast he has caught on! We still have a fair share of accidents but are getting there! I hate potty training but seeing them in their underwear is so cute and almost makes it worth it!
