Slip n slide...

Not too long ago Clay decided to create a makeshift slip n slide with our tarp! Once we got it staked down and the hose running it was perfect! All of the boys (including Clay) enjoyed it and I enjoyed standing on the deck taking pictures! I was a little worried about the stones on the side but I dont think anyone came close to hitting them! That is going to be a great sledding hill!

Cohen needed a little encouragement, but he did love it!

July recap...

Just random pictures from the rest of July! We have been trying to stay busy and have spent lots of time with cousins!

Trying out a splash pad near our house!
My boys werent brave enough to run through the water (pretty sure only Jonathan was), good thing there was a nice 'river' as well!
Again with the posing! Love him!
Lyndsay has been so great to take us with her wherever we go...their van is pretty nice! Pretty sure I owe her gas money!
One day we went to the Museum of Natural Curiosity! It was beyond crowded but still lots of fun!

Icees!!
Working on unpacking and thought it would be easier to just throw the blankets/sheets/towels down the stairs rather than make so many trips up and down them! Unpacking is no fun!
Over at the Detros!
Had to get free slurpees on 7/11 at 7Eleven! The line wasnt bad at all...they were prepared!
We went up to see our other cousins and headed to the lake to do some paddle boarding! Even I tried it! Cohen and Brody mostly played in the water they werent supposed to play in and they all had a blast with their cousins!
These 2 always seem to wear the same clothes!
I convinced Lyndsay we needed to check out Art City Donuts (a food truck that happened to be at Thanksgiving Point this particular day)! The kids mostly whined for water, but the donuts were really good! I will definitely go back!
We live really close to Cabelas and one evening we walked our bikes down to the RV parking lot that is pretty empty and let the kids ride where it was flat! Jack has been really hesitant to ride his big bike so we thought this would help. He put up a good fight to take a bike with training wheels but we stood our ground and made him take his big bike and he did fabulous! He just needs a little more confidence in himself! Brody was (as usual) hesitant to ride around at first and was complaining about his helmet itching, but eventually he joined in the fun! We bought Cohen a helmet because he has been scaring me with how fast and reckless he is on his bike and he loves it! The weather was so nice and it was a fun family outing!
On my birthday Lyndsay and I took the kids down to the Bean Museum! They have recently made some changes so we went to see what was new. It didnt take long to see everything but we headed over to the creamery to pick up some BYU ranch dressing and ice cream! Then we drove over to Sodalicious! That night they came back for cake! It was a fun day!

Pioneer Day...

Clay got Pioneer Day off of work so we decided to head up to This Is The Place Park with Lyndsay and her kids! It was hot, but we tried to get up there as early as possible (and we actually made it right after they opened) to try and avoid some of the heat and crowds. I was surprised it wasnt more crowded! I hadnt ever been and it was the perfect place to go on Pioneer Day! We enjoyed it and ended the fun with lunch at Wendys before heading home!

He always poses the best for me!
Madison and Cohen! She is such a trooper and carries him around everywhere!

Looking for gold! He was living out his Jungle Gold dreams!

Cohen turns 2...

Cohen is 2! He is getting so big! He wants to do whatever his brothers are doing and is a smart little boy! He still loves his milk and is very specific about which sippy cup he will take it in. He is not a good eater and sometimes I often wonder how he manages. He hasnt had his 2 year check up yet so I dont know his stats but my guess is he is on the low side of the scale. He is saying more words every day and has a deep growl that cracks me up! He is stubborn just like his brothers and recently started climbing out of his crib. Still havent moved him to a bed but I am sure it is a matter of time. Jack is his buddy and it is cute to watch them play together! He also LOVES Madison! He cries every time they have to leave. He is still my snuggler and I love that he will sit and cuddle with me!

So excited about his toys! And there is the sippy cup...think it might be time to break him of his habit. Pretty sure we will have dental work in our future.

I am pretty sure we did something with Lyndsay and the kids that day but I cant remember. But that night we met Clay at In N Out for dinner and then Lyndsay and her kids and Colleen and her kids came for cake and ice cream! It was fun to have all of the cousins over and let them just play!

Showing me his nose!

He did not want anything to do with the candles and refused to blow them out! He did like everyone singing to him! In fact, my parents called and left a message on my phone and so I played it for Cohen when he woke up from his nap and he loved it! He even sang along!

Happy birthday to our big boy! We love you!
