Preschool Halloween Parade...

On Thursday Jack had a Halloween Parade at preschool! They all marched into the church in their costumes and then sang some songs for us!

I know this is really dark but I was testing my camera (Jenna was showing me how to take it off of auto mode) and thought this was a cute picture of Brody. We were waiting for the kids still!
I also like this one (the light is slightly better)!
And this is just too funny to me...he is totally going cross-eyed looking at baby!
Jack in his costume (his friend, Miles, was also Mario)!

The only video I could get to upload that you could actually understand (somewhat) what they were singing! The camera was shaky because I was trying to hold it above the ladies heads in front of me and I also had Brody pulling on me :).

Pichas' Pumpkin Patch...

Clay had Columbus Day off so we headed over to a local pumpkin patch! Not a ton to do there but just what we needed...pumpkins and pictures!! We found some pumpkins and Jack and Clay did a slingshot and we picked out our prizes and then headed home! We are ready for Halloween!!!

Thanks to Pinterest I found a similar wreath (found here) and knew I had to try it! I love how mine turned out!!! Simple and festive!

This picture makes me laugh! Jack insisted on wearing the hat (it is his 'Transformers' hat)!
Brodys pick :)
Which he proceeded to throw into the wheelbarrow!
Jacks pick!
Trying to push the wheelbarrow...not sure he was even able to lift up the end of it! Gotta love his face though :)

This is what Jack got to pick out as his prize for doing the slingshot and making them into the crate! Brody carries them around the house and throws them...he is probably sad he didnt get to try out the slingshot!

So Unfortunate...

Brody is such a silly boy sometimes!

For instance, he hasnt quite figured out that you put the telescope up to your eye and not your nose yet!

But another way he is silly is how he pronounces some of his words! He is really starting to talk a lot more and most of the time you can understand what he is saying! But sometimes he just interprets the words and you are left wondering how in the world he thought it was the same. Silly boy!

First it was grandpa/grandma (he says it the same way)! He pronounces it 'papoo' every time! I think it is adorable...but still havent made the connection between the two!

And now it is Goofy! I think he has switched the f and the g around somehow but it is just so unfortunate for poor goofy! It always sounds so bad when he says it (we Clay has tried to correct him but with no luck so far). I noticed it when we were in Disney World but he still says it all the time. Oh well. One of these days he will get it right, right?!

Last Day in Disney World...

On our last day in Disney World we headed over to Animal Kingdom with Chad and Colleen for breakfast with the characters! We also had to do the Safari again! But then we had to head back to the hotel to check out. We went back to Magic Kingdom to do a few more rides before leaving for the airport. Unfortunately it was pretty crowded and we were only able to get in to see Mickeys Philharmagic 3D. It was very coo! We would have liked to do a few more rides, but we had to say goodbye to Mickey and Friends and head home.

I LOVE this picture :)

Safari Donald! Not a good picture of us...oh well. Love Donald holding Jacks hand!
Safari Daisy!! Notice Brodys shirt with OJ all down the front.
Safari Goofy...Brody was only interested in his tooth!
I think this picture is great!

Safari Mickey...Brody only wanted to touch his nose!
Love that he is laughing about Brody touching his nose!
I think this is my FAVORITE picture from the entire trip! He was on the safari and using his binoculars!! Thanks to Chad for getting this picture!
Jane, Jack, and Clark on the safari!

This giraffe was walking right up next to our car! It was so amazing!
I was so busy taking pictures of the giraffe that I almost missed the white rhino right next to our car! Man it was cool!
Just a little perspective of how close we were to the rhino!

We each picked out a prize while we were there! I wanted each of my kids to pick out a stuffed animal and thought it would be perfect if Jack got Donald (you know, because of Duck) and Brody got Mickey (he loves Mickey). Well, that didnt happen. Every time we went into a store I would show Mickey to Brody and he didnt want anything to do with him. So what did my boys end up with? Star Wars. Oh well. They were happy and I ended up getting a Mickey for my prize so it all worked out I guess!

Clay and his stylin' hat :)
Me and Mickey :)
This is what Clay and Jack picked out. Would not have been my choice but I dont always get a say!
I think these characters are so cute! I was trying to get Jack to get these but was overruled so I convinced Brody to get them instead ;)

While we had a magical time and will remember this trip for years to come, there were a few incidents that are worth remembering in another sort of way!

#1 Brody had a hard time falling asleep in the hotel room! He turned into a crazy boy and because of that our sleeping arangements changed just about every night. One night I was sleeping with Brody (and Clay with Jack). I was having some crazy dream that night about Brody and poo and sure enough woke up to find that Brody had a 'blow out' of some sort and had gotten poo all over the sheets. Not cool.

#2 Next night Clay was sleeping with Brody. Around 1 am Brody threw up all over the sheets. So we had to call room service in the middle of the night. Thankfully he was ok...probably had nothing to do with all of the junk we were eating!

#3 We were waiting in line for Winnie the Pooh when Jack suddenly had to pee really bad (he does this all the time. He usually waits to tell us he has to go to the bathroom until it is almost too late). So I finally got out of line with him and we ran to the bathroom. As we ran into the bathroom he peed on the floor. Ugh.

#4 We were on our last flight home. It was late. We had changed the boys into their jammies. I was in the middle and had both of the boys asleep with their heads on my lap. I had dozed off and woke up just as Jack threw up. Yep. Right there in the seat. He was still asleep but I managed to sit him up and yell at Clay to help! It was everywhere (somehow amazingly not on me). And it smelled. We had to change him back into his shorts and t-shirt and he was freezing. He had thrown up all over his duck and blanket so we had to beg the stewardess for a blanket (they only had them for those in first class). Not sure what we would have done otherwise. We got it all cleaned up. Jack told us he ate too much food. And then he went back to sleep. I sat and cried for a minute and wished I was home in my bed, but was thankful that we were able to get it all under control. And somehow I dont think anyone noticed. The guy in front of us turned around and told us how good the kids did after we had landed in Seattle. Really?? He didnt smell anything? I was amazed. I felt disgusting and couldnt wait to get home and cleaned up!

We made it home and got right back into our busy schedule! We miss Mickey and friends! Jack keeps asking to go on rides! We are so glad we were able to make this trip work and do so with all of our family! To know you is to Love you!

Saturday/Sunday...

After our late night we took it easy Saturday morning. We started the day (a little later) at Epcot. Bad move. It was the start of the Food and Wine Festival and it was crazy busy. We went over to Soarin' (Clays favorite ride) only to find the wait was way too long so we didnt get to go on the ride. We did get lunch (at the Mexican restaurant again) and Clay tried some Brazilian food (which he said wasnt authentic) but we ended up leaving and heading over to Hollywood Studios again!

Yes, we spent a lot of time there (I definitely didnt think that would be the case)! But we really wanted to see Fantasmic and the car stunt show.

Rides for the day included:
Studio Backlot Tour, Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show,  Star Tours, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and Fantastmic.

Backlot Tour

More Backlot Tour

This was Jacks prize for seeing Rapunzel! Here is Brody trying it out!

Waiting for the stunt show to start. Lightening McQueen made an appearance...it was a pretty cool show! Jack keeps recreating the stunts with his matchbox cars!
Waiting for Fantastmic!

On Sunday we took our time getting up again and spent the day at Magic Kingdom. We met the rest of the family (those who were still there) at Roys for dinner and headed back to the hotel to do laundry and pack our stuff up.

Rides for the day included:
Astro Orbitor, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, Its A Small World, Peter Pan's Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Splash Mountain, Country Bear Jamboree, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Walt Disney World Railroad, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Trying to get some pictures with the castle in the background...apparently it was too sunny!
Oh, and some of us didnt want to cooperate!
PeopleMover!
Brody was being so crazy. I should have taken a video...the picture doesnt do it justice!
Of course, when we went into a tunnel and it was dark, he was so scared. Clay thought it was funny and kept taking pictures of him.
Rockets!
Love this!
Love this one too!
Brody getting some energy out while Clay and Jack went on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. **We spent most of the day trying to convince Jack to try Big Thunder. He just didnt want to try it, but we knew he would love it if he would give it a try. Somehow we finally managed to convince him to go and so he and Clay went. We forgot to get a switch pass so I couldnt go, but he came back and said it was his favorite ride! Funny how that works! He was actually mad he couldnt go back again.**
