One Month Old!!

Today Jack is one month old...where has the time gone?? He really is a good baby. He is starting to smile more and is growing every day (he is actually starting to fit into a lot of his clothes)!! Even though our sleeping patterns are still not well established we are adjusting and love our little boy!!

First trip to church...

This past Sunday was our first trip to church! Jack did so well...he had his bottle when we got there and then slept the rest of the time...what a good boy! He must love church (I guess we will see if it continues)!!

Hi! Well Jack went to the pediatrician today for his 2 week check up. He weighed 8lbs 4oz (so he is right around his birth weight) and 21 3/4 inches long (he is growing!). He was measuring right about at the 50th percentile (a little above for head circumference and length, a little below for weight).

He was also circumcized and got blood drawn from his ankle. Clay and I opted to leave for the circumcision (which took about a half hour) but were told that he did really well!! I had to hold him for the blood work and I think Clay had a harder time with it than me but it was hard to hear my little boy scream. In any case he is sleeping comfortably for now (until he recovers sensation again I am sure!)!

Welcome Jack William!!

Well it has been just over 2 weeks since little Jack has arrived!! He weighed 8lbs 3oz and was 19 1/2 inches long!! I am still not sure how I did it but he is here and we are happy as can be. He likes to sleep and eat and occasionally will flash a smile!! He has already slept for a 7 hour period (ok it was only once but was very nice) and has recently learned how to cry a lot!!!!!! I still cant decide who he looks like and he changes every day...he does have our lips that is for sure!!
