Raspberries and the Park...

One evening Clay and Uncle Steve took the kids across the street to play golf and baseball. Of course, by the end the bats became light sabers (have I ever mentioned how obsessed my boys are with Star Wars?!)!

If you look closely you can see the ball about to hit Steve...

Using his hand as a 'mask' like the umpire wears!

We also decided we wanted to go pick strawberries so we headed out to one of the many farms only to find that we missed the strawberry season. So raspberries it was! The boys loved it and we got lots of yummy raspberries for freezer jam! It was a fun adventure!

A day in Seattle...

We decided to head up to Seattle on Thursday. We started at Pikes Place Market and walked through the craziness! Then we headed down to the water and had lunch at Ivars. Cohen and Brody fell asleep in the stroller and we all enjoyed our lunch! After lunch we walked over to the Aquarium. Brody was cute to watch! He thought everything was so fascinating! Everyone seemed to really enjoy it and we even got to see the trainer feeding the seal! It was very cool! We ended with the river otters (the reason Steve wanted to go) and then decided to head home. And since it was dinner time, but we were still a little full from lunch we had ice cream for dinner! Perfect if you ask me!

Uncle Steve holding Jack so he could see them tossing the fish!

Jack has started posing for us more! Gotta love it!

If you look close you can see the river otters cuddling behind the boys!

Update...

Cohen is almost 2 weeks old now! Crazy! He is still tiny but at the same time I feel like he is getting so big! He definitely likes to be held and cuddled all the time! He is a good little boy and his brothers love him and give him kisses and ask to hold him (when they are not too busy playing Star Wars)! He has had a few rough nights here and there, but usually only wakes up once at night!

I am feeling good! I feel like I am recovering pretty fast...although we will see how I do once everyone leaves on Monday! I have been lucky to have Clay home for 2 weeks and my mom here! Lots of help so I can rest/recover!

We havent done too much, which has been fine with me, but Clay has tried to keep the boys busy and we have ventured out a few times! So far so good!

2 days

The day we got home from the hospital I had put Cohen down in the swing and the first thing Jack did was put R2D2 and C-3P0 in his lap! I had sent this picture to my sister and she sent me the following text...I am still laughing about it!

Tyler: "Mom guess what?! I just saw my new baby cousin and it was a picture with rooty toot and 3P0!"

Meeting his friend, Diadora, for the first time!!

Not great quality, but just a few of his faces!

Last Saturday was the Air Show at JBLM. Clay was so excited to take the boys. I wanted to go as well, but thought it best to stay home with Cohen and rest. Well, it took him 3 hours from when he left the house to get in (and we live about 20 miles away). The lines were so long for everything. They didnt get to go on any of the planes because of lines. But he did manage a few pictures for me! He said the boys did so well all things considered! Brody loved watching the planes flying and kept asking to get on! Sadly they didnt stay very long because it was so crowded.
